Adopt a gnome – support an artist, is a new initiative at LUMA aimed at assisting emerging New Zealand artists.
Professional creatives have helped by contributing time and skill to give our gnomes a facelift. The 30 blank gnomes were donated by our partners Queenstown Lakes District Creative Communities Scheme and with help from Patch Landscape and Resene.
The LUMA Gnomes are a part of Gnome Alley, a walkway through the centre of the Gardens where all those attending LUMA 2019 will get to see all the artists’ works
Each gnome is being auctioned off on Trademe, with opening bids set by the artists themselves. Please browse through the catalog of amazing Gnomes here, and come down to LUMA to have a look at them in person, then make a bid and you’re Gnome could have a new home!
