Adopt a gnome – support an artist, is a new initiative at LUMA  aimed at assisting emerging artists exhibit at LUMA. 30 identical gnomes were donated by our partners Queenstown Lakes District Creative Communities Scheme and Patch Landscape.

Professional creatives have then contributing time and skill, and with the help of Resene, given our gnomes a facelift to create 30 unique works of art. The LUMA Gnomes are a part of Gnome Alley, a walkway through the centre of the Gardens where all those attending LUMA 2019 will get to see the artists’ works

Each Gnome is being auctioned off on Trademe. Please browse through the catalog of amazing Gnomes and visit Macomos Gallery before LUMA starts or come down to LUMA over Queens Birthday weekend to have a look at them in person.  Make a bid and your Gnome alone no longer.
