LUMA Queenstown is a unique night time experience for families, visitors to Queenstown and locals alike. Wander through the spectacular installations in the Queenstown Gardens and see your world in a completely different light.

Delicious hot drinks, mulled wine and warm food will be available throughout the exhibit, in addition to some warmer areas, to combat the crisp June temperatures, but to fully enjoy the LUMA experience we recommend everyone is wrapped up warmly with hats, scarfs, gloves, boots, warm socks, puffer jackets, and layers of merino and/or polypropylene.  Feedback from previous LUMA attendees, especially those with small children, suggest that you will be able to really appreciate the environment if you are toasty!

If you lose your little ones at LUMA, approach one of our Crew, LUMAteers or Security who can assist you in finding your wee one.  We have many sets of eyes on the ground! Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

If you lose your stuff, we take everything to the Queenstown Police Station.

If you find yourself in a bother and a wits end, head over to LUMA HQ at the Bowling Club where we will be able to assist you.

If you have any mobility issues then let a LUMAteers know and we will assist

We ask that you leave your pets at home, as children may become distressed in the presence of dogs, especially after dark.

We anticipate significant traffic congestion around the Queenstown Gardens and town centre throughout the duration of LUMA, and ask that people maximise the use of public transport and/or carpool to the event.

Photographs and/or video will be taken LUMA.
