How do I buy a ticket?

What types of tickets are there?

Adult – 13 years and older

Child – 12 years and under – FREE!

LUMA ENTRY – available from 1st March

LUMA Entry – $25 per ticket plus booking fees.

EVENT DAY Entry – $30 per ticket plus booking fees via LUMA.nz or in person at the box office.

If you can’t commit to the day of, it’ll cost more to get entry! Buy in advance and save yourself some coin.

How many tickets can I buy?

You can buy up to 10 adult tickets and 6 child tickets per ticket type per transaction. If you wish to purchase more tickets than what is allowed for, get in touch with us to assist – luma@flicket.co.nz

Can I get a group discount?

If you buy 10 tickets to the same day, you’ll only pay for 9!

What time is the event?

The event is 5pm to 10pm nightly, but please note no re-entry or entry for the first time after 9:30pm each event night.

Are you allowed to leave and come back again?

Passouts will be issued from 5:30pm – 9:30pm each event day, these will be provided by passing through the correct exit to obtain a passout scan on the individual ticket – make sure you keep your ticket with you to allow for this.

Are children allowed in and how much?

Children 12 & under go free but need a ticket from www.luma.nz

Can I get a refund?

Refunds at the full face value only (per ticket booking fees and card processing fees are non-refundable) are
available until 16th May 11:59pm.

From 00:01 on 17th May, refund requests will incur a NZD$10 admin fee on the ticket’s face value.

Can I swap my ticket to another day?

If you would like to change the date you are attending LUMA, you will need to re-purchase your desired ticket date and then fill in the refund request form. Please note your refund will be for the face value of the ticket only (per ticket booking fees and card processing fees are non-refundable). 

Your refund will automatically be refunded back to the card used to purchase the tickets. Once you receive confirmation via email that your refund has been processed within 5 business days into your account. 

You will be asked to provide the information below to request a refund on your original ticket;

Full name on order
Email address used to purchase the tickets
Original order confirmation number
New order confirmation number
Number of tickets you wish to refund
Name on the tickets

If you are no longer needing your child tickets for a specific day, ensure you email luma@flicket.co.nz or add this to the refund request.

Why buy now not wait until the event?

Buying now will secure the night you want to go, and the price, when you buy closer to the event, (after thinking about the weather and what night your friends are going) you’re taking the chance on availability and could be paying a higher ticket price.

Can I buy on the door?

There will be on the day sales (if a night is not sold out prior). We will setup a box office for you to purchase from and they will be priced at $30 + booking fee. You will still be able to purchase tickets online though – with no queues!

Are there buses?

We work with Queenstown Central to deliver free buses between them and the event.

These will run continuously Friday-Sunday nights, unless advertised otherwise.

Why are event nights selling out?

We are required to limit ticket numbers per night to protect the Queenstown Gardens as a condition of use. We also want to limit numbers to enhance your experience.
